Happy 9th Birthday Evie!
Huge Happy Birthday to you from both of us - hope you have a lovely day! So sorry we can’t phone and talk to you, but this will have to do just now.
While I was packing for moving house, I came across paintings and drawings I did when I was a little girl. As a child my Mum, your Gran, always told me to date my work. It used to make me grumpy back then, but I'm glad she made me now! Look at what I did it when I was your age, 9 years old. We'd love to see something of yours just now – put it up here for us to see!

Both Uncle Paul and I hope you like the present we sent you. I made the framed print at the Glasgow Print Studio at a Woodcut Printing Class – here’s the link for it:

Uncle Paul took the photo of donkeys when we were in the Sahara Desert, travelling Africa at the end of 2009. Here are a few more photos of us when we were there.

Can you see Uncle Paul in the Sahara?! We also hope you like making prints with the kit we've sent to you. Go on, put a print up here that you made, we’d love to see what a clever girl you are!
